Bogulski On Evans

Pennysaver Letter Calls For Change
If you know Pete Bogulski, you know he really cares about the Town of Evans. When you are in your golden years and look around town and see little has changed in decades, guys like Pete take on the challenge to make Evans better for the people. To do that, he has to battle the political class that likes things the way they are.
His #1 issue is the Sturgeon Point Marina. The marina would have been closed in 2023 if Pete did not get involved. Pete, for years, has been fighting to get sewers to the marina. There is/was funding for this but no one in town hall had the time to submit the paperwork! The marina should be the jewel of the town. Too many elected officials over the years have viewed the marina as a liability. Your vote on November 7th can change that. Read Pete’s letter below.
NEW NEWS ON THE MARINA!
If you don’t know, it is very difficult to get the Town of Evans to give residents requested documents, even if requested via FOIL. The last electric bills made available to the public were in 2018. The cost to taxpayers for electric for the Sturgeon Point Marina concession stand was over $5,000. In 2023, the rent for the concession stand was $4,500. However, the contract for the concession stand does not allow food trucks at the marina.
