What is public corruption? In the Town of Evans it is not a rhetorical question.
Paul Wolf, the President of the New York Coalition for Open Government, sent out an email with a link to a YouTube Video and these comments: Below is a link to an interesting video. It is a bit long at 29 minutes but if you are snowed in this weekend or have the time, I encourage you to watch it. It is about how a college student developed an interesting way to monitor government officials compliance with the law. The same issue we struggle with as far as open government laws.

As a town, we have accepted how town government is run as “business as usual” or “that’s how things have always been done”.
