When you hear the name “Nytz”, who do you think of?
Did you think of Mary Hosler? Me neither.
A recent Freedom of Information request from the Town of Evans for W2s includes three years (2019, 2020, & 2021) for Nytz-Hosler. Going back to Robbie Catalino, Fran Pordum, & Keith Dash, the supervisor’s salary has been the same. The town board voted to approve board salaries at the first meeting after the November elections. In the 2020 Adopted Budget, the position of supervisor was budgeted for $40,000 (Page 64) and Budget Officer for $15,000 for a total of $55,000.
Where in the 2020 budget or 2020 town board minutes was an additional $6,000 voted on to pay the supervisor?
As kids, we learn there is a word for taking money that does not belong to you.
The state audited the Town of Evans in 2002 and 2012. Maybe it’s time for another audit that includes this $6,000 payment(s) to the supervisor?

It would not allow opposition by lethal weapons. Ideas are much more fatal things than guns. Why should any man be allowed to buy a printing press and disseminate pernicious opinions calculated to embarrass the government?
