Hosler is turning town hall into a comedy club!
Mary Hosler raised taxes much more than any supervisor named above.
Mary Hosler illegally denied more Freedom of Information requests than any supervisor named above.
This past year, four neighbors sold their homes because Mary Hosler fiddled while Muddy Creek flooded.
It wouldn’t be Evans if Mary Hosler could step down without one more scandal. An Evans resident, via a FOIL, requested the electric bills for the senior center. The 2022 FOIL and the FOIL Denial Appeal Letter denied documents. On 1-26-2023, three years of electric bills were “mysteriously” provided via an email. Mary Hosler refused to reinstall the solar system on the senior center after the roof was replaced. Electric bills went from near $0 to near $1,000! (Cost analysis coming soon!) Mary Hosler can’t use the long time Evans excuse of “I didn’t know” since this topic was discussed publicly many times at town board meetings. Thousands of dollars went to pay electric bills instead of for programs for seniors!
That downgrades her Gold Rolex to a Gold Timex!
Besides, if the next supervisor gets the Town of Evans into financial problems, he/she will simply do what Mary Hosler did. Raise taxes!
