Does Evans Really Need A $268,900 Splash Pad?

At the 2-25-2020 Evans Town Board Meeting, Mary Hosler and Tom George voted to spend $268,900 on a splash pad!

With social distancing the new norm, should town pull the plug on this project?

How about using this money to dredge Sturgeon Point Marina? Maybe fill some pot holes? Pave some roads? Maybe not spend this money and reduce taxes?

Mary Hosler does not like the fact that many boaters using the Sturgeon Point Marina are not Evans residents. Spoiler alert! Many using the pool and now the splash pad will be from out of town too!
