A 2023 Ray Ashton campaign ad titled “NO FALSE PROMISES” states he will “promote transparency in local government.”

Now, the Town of Evans is amid controversy, including the former supervisor lining her pockets with taxpayer money and the town’s payroll mismanagement.

On 8/21/2024, on Resolution #309 for Audit Services for Payroll Operations, Ashton voted NAY to block the audit.

That is the opposite of “promoting transparency.”

On 10/2/2024, Ray Ashton will be able to keep his word to residents.

Residents have the right to know how every penny is spent in this town.

Ray Ashton scheduled the 10-2 town board meeting for 6:00 PM, knowing most residents will assume a 7:00 start time. This is also the opposite of “promoting transparency.”

When Fran Pordum battled the party bosses, they primaryed him into retirement.

On 10-2, residents will find out if Ray Ashtom is a man of character or just another polition that will say anything to get elected.

I answer the questions.
I feel like a broken record.

The Mary Hosler video is 17 seconds long. The Tommy George video is 36 seconds long. Can you watch these two short videos and tell me that Evans has open government?
