Stop The LiesBelow is the handout given to residents at the 7-17-2013 town board meeting.

Below the handout is a chart that shows the town board has been less than truthful about residents saving money by turning of the water system to the Erie County Water Authority.

Handout states that average homeowner uses 15,000. Even at 15,000, water customers would have saved $3.80 without the turnover to the ECWA!

At a 6,000 gallon minimum, Evans minimum water bills at $7.15 per 1,000 gallons would have been $42.90! Not the ECWA $61.65!

Get out your water bill. Listed under Meter Read Information is how many gallons of water you used.

Look at line for your number (per 1,000) of gallons used. You’ll see your ECWA bill amount and to the right what your bill would be at $7.15 per 1,000 gallons if town kept water system.

Unless you used 18,000 gallon or more, you’ll pay more than if town kept water department.

Hence, Lies, Darn Lies & Town of Evans Water Bullet Points!
