Since 2007, the TownOfEvans.com has obtained the town’s assessment data in Microsoft Excel format. Excel format allows an online database to be created that includes an advanced search capability. Four years ago, Evans Supervisor Mary Hosler denied the request for the assessment data in Excel format. Two years ago, the TownOfEvans.com, as provided for under NYS Law, initiated an Article 78 action to ask a judge to require Mary Hosler to follow the law.
Long story short, it was a battle with town officials to get the assessment data. → Click here to view the 2023 assessment data.
ADVANCED SEARCH
The Town of Evans provides assessment data in a printable PDF file. The data is printed in street address order. In the online database, you can search by multiple fields.
FOR EXAMPLE: If you wanted a list of all properties owned by John Doe, you would simply enter the last name “Doe” into the last name search box and then click the search button. All properties owned by last name = Doe will be displayed.
